Representatives of regional mass media visited the IK-5 UFSIN of Russia in the Tambov region, where he familiarized himself with the activities of the group to study foreign languages.

Group work is carried out in the study of English secondary schools for persons serving sentences. Taught by a convict. He explained to reporters that the languages are taught by a special technique.

The developed methodology convict first tested on himself and just a few months to learn a foreign language. Currently the young man has been teaching for five languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and English. Students give homework and tests. And on weekends they test new knowledge in the club. Viewing foreign films, says the teacher, makes it easier to learn the language.

In conversation with the employees of the penal colony, media representatives learned that group work is an integral part of the educational, correctional process with persons serving sentences. It focuses on the reasonable organization of leisure and involvement in socially useful activities of convicted persons and the disclosure of their individual abilities and development interests.
