Kazan hosted the signing of the agreement on joint activity and cooperation between the UFSIN of Russia for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Commissioner for children’s rights in the region.

The chief UFSIN of Russia on Republic Tatarstan Eduard Galeev stressed the importance of support to minors in difficult life situation (a criminal prosecution) and their social rehabilitation during and after punishment.

The children’s Ombudsman Guzel Udachina, in turn, expressed a desire to visit Izhevsk educational colony, where from the Republic of Tatarstan sent minors to serve their sentence of deprivation of liberty.

Today in the Republic the records of the criminal-Executive inspection there are about 120 minors, as well as in 22 people under the age of 18 are in detention centers of the Republic.
