Rinat Enikeev, Director of the Department of supervision and preventive work of EMERCOM of Russia, told about the results of inspections of children’s activities last summer.

According to R. Enikeeva, last summer, EMERCOM of Russia fully implemented the preventive and Supervisory measures in children’s recreation camps. On the account specialists of the Ministry was taken about 45 thousand children’s holiday facilities. Managers and Executive officers each of them has been trained fire safety measures. In all establishments of rest and improvement of children conducted exercises with actions in case of evacuation.
The office was launched public outreach campaign to explain the rules of safe operation of heat-generating devices, stoves, household electrical equipment.
During the summer the Supervisory bodies of EMERCOM of Russia held more than 58 thousand inspections and preventive examinations of children’s camps for compliance with established fire safety requirements. The result revealed more than 12 thousand violations, some of them became the basis for the application of measures of administrative influence. For default in time the lawful instructions of Supervisory authorities in the courts over 340 cases. The result brought to administrative responsibility more than 800 legal and two thousand officials.
The audits identified more than 30 unauthorized organizations, children’s activities, including 16 children’s camp tent-like. On the facts of their illegal operation notice, state agencies, including the Prosecutor’s office.
As noted by R. Enikeev, the Agency analyzed the causes and circumstances of a fire in a tent camp on the territory of the complex “Kholdomi” in Khabarovsk region. In the result of changes to the fire prevention rules regarding tent type. In addition, experts are developing a draft national standard that establishes fire safety requirements for materials and design features of tents.
