During the second day of the international exercise “Barents rescue-2019” Russian rescuers in close collaboration with colleagues from Norway, Sweden and Finland fulfilled practical skills in liquidation of consequences of various accidents.

In the course of the simulated accident were applied modern methods of release of victims, perfect the first aid and transport the injured to medical institutions with the use of sanitary aviation. Active participation in the work was made by the psychologists of EMERCOM of Russia, knowledge of a foreign language which allowed to quickly and efficiently provide help in a difficult situation and to help the victims.

In addition, the exercise was practiced skills of rescue of people on water objects. Joint efforts assisted in the rescue of the fallen from the bridge of a person, and shipping him to the shore to assist.

At the last stage of the exercises in the mine, located in the city, was developed the skills to extract the victim from the rubble and provide him with timely medical and psychological assistance.

Practical exercises were held at a high level, the tasks are solved in full, and the parallel training points allowed to involve all necessary forces and means and to provide maximum realism.
