IK-1 UFSIN Rossii po Respublike Komi was visited by the Minister of investment, industry and transport of Komi Republic. Thus, the colony is ready to take additional orders, in particular from the budgetary institutions of the Republic of Komi.

Asked the Minister also to the number of prisoners employed in industries, as well as what do those who do not wish or are unable to work. As noted by the head of the colony Maxim Tretyak, prisoners continuously conducted educational activities to motivate them to useful employment, labour, and willing to be employed is increasing from year to year. Therefore, the administration of the institution along with the FPS continuously working on the issues of increasing the volumes of production, expansion of range of products and capabilities of existing industries, and opening new ones. The more that the establishment has great potential for training in all the necessary specialties. It successfully works the branch of the vocational school № 23 of the Federal penitentiary service of Russia. Classes and workshops the convicts are taught trades that are in demand not only in the colony but also in the labour market of the Republic – a seamstress, machine operator of woodworking machines, welder, operator, dryers, Baker, cook, etc.

According to the results of the working visit the Minister for investment, industry and transport of the Komi Republic Alexander Remiga positively assessed the state of the facilities in a correctional facility, in particular, partnerships with business and state and national agencies. Also, an agreement was reached with the chief engineer UFSIN Rossii po Respublike Komi Republic Ilya Blinov on holding a separate working meeting to discuss possible ways of development of production in the institutions of the FPS.
