The delegation chiefs of border customs authorities of China visited the Third phase of modern high-tech specialized coal complex of JSC “Vostochny Port”, the official launch which took place three weeks ago at the Eastern economic forum. The visit came in the framework of exchange of experience between Russian and Chinese experts of the customs service on a parity basis.

During such internships, lectures and field trips, during which Chinese customs officers acquainted with the organization of work on railway, sea and other points. Guests today visited WFP East and JSC “Vostochny Port”. The interest of customs of the PRC to the stevedoring company is caused mainly by the organization here coal handling hi-tech closed method, largely unique to our country. In addition, China is one of the main exporters of Russian coal, – said Deputy Dean of advanced training faculty of Vladivostok branch of Russian customs Academy Boris Filichev.

High-ranking guests from China together with managing Director of JSC “Vostochny Port” Vadim Bobac from the height of the observation platform and inspected the terminal of the Third stage, the construction of which used the most modern technology and equipment.

A fully gated complex of car dumpers, is a separate room, which serves for unloading the trains with coal. Here the cars turn over, and the load is lowered to a depth of over 20 meters. In the special bins is formed, the flow of coal through the underground galleries it is served on a covered conveyor belt – acquainted the guests with the technology of the terminal operation Vadim Baibak. The cargo follows to the warehouse, then to the ship-loading machines and using them in the holds of bulk carriers. Environmental safety is assured by the aspiration systems and “dry mist”, water irrigation, windbreaks and purification of industrial waters.

At the end of the meeting the head of the stevedore company said that the commissioning of the Third stage of this year became a landmark event for the economy of Primorsky Krai. According to specialists, the total tax payments from the project until 2026 will be about 25 billion rubles, will create more than 600 new highly skilled jobs, while the volume of transshipment of coal enterprise in Asian Pacific countries (including people’s Republic of China) will increase to 50 – 55 million tons.
