Fire Weather Warning
for the Darling Downs and Granite Belt forecast district
Issued at 8:45 am EST on Sunday 29 September 2019.
Severe fire danger ratings are forecast to affect the Darling Downs and Granite Belt today, and may affect isolated parts of the northern Maranoa and Warrego, southern Central Highlands and Coalfields and western Southeast Coast districts.
Fresh and gusty west to southwesterly winds are expected to bring hot and dry conditions across the warning area this afternoon. Winds will ease this evening.

No further warnings will be issued for this event, but the situation will continue to be monitored and further warnings issued if necessary.
