Soldiers of the 201st military base together with the assistant commander for work with the Orthodox believers, a priest of the Roman Chebanenko and Sunday school pupils of the Iberian military Church congratulated the 230 residents of the home for the elderly and disabled “Batosh” in Tursunzoda city with the International day of older persons.

Upon arrival at the orphanage, soldiers with the pupils of the Sunday school covered for the guests a festive table with treats, and then organized a concert which was opened by the assistant commander of the 201st base on work with the faithful Roman Chebanenko. In his opening speech the father of the Roman occupants of the house congratulated with the International day of older persons and wished good health, long life, and each day was filled with joyful emotions.

With sincere warmth and love the Sunday school pupils of the Iberian military Church sang and danced for the audience, creating in the room a festive atmosphere. Guests of the orphanage was awarded the young artists with bright smiles and loud applause.

After the concert children together with Russian soldiers also congratulated immobile elderly people, handing them a box of sweets and basic necessities that were collected 201 servicemen of the military base and members of their families.
