EU CITIZENV is an initiative launched by the European Commission – Directorate General for the Environment. It is designed as a citizen dialogue (an open discussion between citizens and an EC official) and focuses on the environment and young people (18-25 years old) as they are the new generation of Europeans.
By asking the same five questions in a very friendly and participatory way in several EU Member States, we will be able to gather ideas on what young Europeans care about in relation to European environmental policies, how they see their environment in 2030, and the most important issue they want the EU to address when it comes to the environment.
