A 38-year-old woman had her car impounded after she attempted to evade police and was allegedly drug driving in Morwell this afternoon.
State Highway Patrol (South East) officers attempted to intercept a silver Holden Commodore on Crinigan Road about 4pm when the driver failed to pull over.
The female driver was intercepted by a second police unit and returned a positive road-side drug test.
Her car was immediately impounded for 30 days at a cost of $1008.
The Morwell woman is expected to be charged on summons with fail to stop, drug driving, drive whilst disqualified and other traffic related offences.
