The auction was attended by over 2.5 thousand applicants.

For the first nine months of this year, at the city auction on sale of uninhabited premises was attended by the largest number of applicants over the past five years, said Deputy Mayor for economic policy and property and land relations Vladimir Yefimov.

“More than 2.5 thousand bidders participated in auctions for the right to purchase non-residential premises directly from the city,” he said.

According to him, a year earlier in the city’s bid were 1.4 thousand people in 2017 — a little more than a thousand, and in 2015 — a total of 973 of the applicant.

Translation of all procedures for the sale of non-residential premises in electronic form and a large number of proposals from cities contributed to the rise in popularity of trading.

On the auctions is exposed property from the property of the Treasury of the capital, and premises located in the economic management of state unitary enterprises and joint stock companies. Objects located in different districts of the capital, they are different in size. According to the head Department of Moscow on competition policy Gennady Degteva such diversity has an impact on the competition.

“The smallest room, which was bought by the winner of the auction this year was an area of nine square meters and was located in the center of the city, 2nd Cossack lane. The largest — almost 1.5 thousand “squares”. Popular commercial premises in all districts of the capital, so the level of competition in such auctions has grown from five participants in 2015 to the seven — in this”, — noted the head of Department.

He added that often in the trades involved up to 50 people. For example, for premises with an area of 36 “squares” in the West of the capital at the address: Mosfilmovskaya street, house 39, building 1 fought 47 applicants.

In just nine months this year through the city’s auctions have sold 346 non-residential premises.
