In Moscow theater of mimicry and gesture from 10 to 17 November will host the second inclusive festival theatre “The territory of the gesture”. The audience will see the performances in sign language, voiced by professional speakers-translators.

Everyone will be able to evaluate the 14 theatrical groups from nine countries — France, USA, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Armenia and Russia. In the festival program presents different genres of theatre and performing arts from the French social drama to American jazz dance. All the productions will be adapted and understandable to any viewer.

This year you can see performances put on classic literary works. Saint-Petersburg theatre of the deaf will play a tragicomedy “Atelier” based on the play by Mikhail Bulgakov “Zoyka apartment”. Theatrical project of deaf actors “Nedoslov” from Moscow will show the dance performance “freedom freestyle” on a story by Maxim Gorky “Makar Chudra”. A theater group of deaf clubs of Slovenia “Quiet stage” will bring the play “Frankenstein” — adaptation of novel by English writer Mary Shelley “Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometheus”.

In addition, the festival will feature modern plastic genres. American band Urban Jazz Dance Company will show a dance performance about a deaf prisoner.

Synthesis-theatre “White Sparrow” from Novosibirsk on the eve of the 75th anniversary of the great Victory will present the performance “We remember!”.

In the children’s program includes the works of two theatres. Guests from Finland will show the play “the Red box”, and artists from Saratov — the play “The honest man” based on the tale of Rudolf Raspe “the Most truthful man on Earth.”

Every day on the stage of the Moscow theater of mimicry and gesture, will be held from two to five shows. Come on they can be anyone. The entrance is free.

Showing unusual performances will be held in Moscow for the second time and is supported by the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation.
