On November 7, High Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova and Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Sardana Guryeva held a joint reception of citizens.

In the video conferencing mode, residents of the region were able to ask the federal ombudsman for assistance in solving life problems. In particular, the ombudswoman received complaints related to the violation of the social rights of pensioners, the provision of compensation for damage resulting from the flood.

Based on the results of the reception, Tatiana Moskalkova instructed the responsible units of High Commissioner’s Office to work on each application. The federal ombudsman took personal control of all the complaints received.
