A number of Inverness street are to be temporarily closed for public safety reasons during the Armistice Day Flag raising ceremony in Inverness on Monday (11 November 2019).

The roads listed below will be closed to all vehicular traffic between 10.55am and 11.05am on Monday. Pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.

Bridge Street will be closed at its junction with Castle Road to its con-junction with High Street. High Street will be closed at its con-junction with Bridge Street to its con-junction with Castle Street. Castle Street will be closed at its con-junction with High Street to its junction with View Place and Castle Wynd will also be closed at its junction with Bridge Street to its end.

Alternative routes for vehicles will be available using Culduthel Road, Old Edinburgh Road, View Place, Haugh Road, Ness Bank and Cavell Gardens, Castle Road, Annfield Road, Damfield Road, Culcabock Road, Old Perth Road, Millburn Road, Academy Street, Friars Lane and Bank Street.
