Fire Weather Warning
for the Inland Central West, West Kimberley Coast, Kimberley Inland, East Pilbara Coast, West Pilbara Coast, East Pilbara Inland and North Interior fire weather districts

Issued at 4:17 pm WST on Wednesday 13 November 2019.

Weather Situation

Very hot and dry on Thursday. Moderate to fresh northeasterly winds are expected over inland parts of the Central West. Fresh and gusty easterly winds over the North Interior, eastern Pilbara and southern Kimberley. A fresh afternoon sea breeze is expected near the Pilbara coast.

For Thursday 14 November:

Catastrophic Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:
East Pilbara Coast

Extreme Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather district:
East Pilbara Inland

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
Inland Central West, West Kimberley Coast, Kimberley Inland, West Pilbara Coast and North Interior

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises you to:

  • Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
  • Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station, www.dfes.wa.gov.au and www.bom.gov.au.
  • Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.
