Not for the first time since the beginning of the migrant crisis, Greece is being asked to do more than is realistically possible in order to manage the large number of migrants and refugees pouring into the country. The EU’s migration representative, has announced that the EU is prepared to assist Greece in addressing this issue at all levels, recognising the enormous pressure the country is already under, which is already overwhelming.
In the light of the above, will the Commission say:
1 Does the EU have any figures on how many refugees and migrants remain in Greece, how many have moved to other EU countries and how many have been returned to their countries of origin (by category: men, women, unaccompanied children);
2 What plan exists for the repatriation of refugees to EU countries and which countries are involved?
3 What is the EU’s collective plan for the integration of refugees in their countries of residence?
