There will be no corruption and shady schemes in the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate (SACI). This is my compelling stand. If necessary, incumbent SACI will be liquidated. Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk made this statement during a meeting on the development of the construction industry and the de-shadowing of the labor market in construction.

“We need honest and professional people in the building sector. I emphasize once again, those who do not work for the interests of the country should better submit a letter of resignation. 2020 is the year of the Government-initiated Grand Construction Program. Each hryvnia invested in the construction means additional six hryvnias in related industries,” Oleksiy Honcharuk noted.

At the same time, the Head of the Government stressed that the Cabinet of Ministers expects the construction business to legally produce building materials without environmental damage and to provide official employment and transparent work of the companies.

According to the PM, the Government is already taking steps to further spur the industry. In particular, deregulation of business, openness and fullness of the data of the State GeoCadastre, increase of state programs for promoting the demand for housing for veterans, internally displaced persons, young people, orphans. In addition, this year an affordable mortgage is expected to reach the level of 11-12%

The Cabinet of Ministers also continues to introduce e-services in a variety of industries, including the construction sector. The e-cabinet of the tenant builder for objects with minor (CC1) effects was launched in December. Online services regarding objects with medium (CC2), and significant (CC3) effects are next things on the agenda.
