Beijing’s Haidian district recently launched an emergency public service platform offering services including updates on the epidemic, express deliveries, medical consultations and psychological counseling.
People can access the platform by following the public account “Beijing Haidian” on WeChat and selecting “Public Services” on the left side of the main page.
The “Emergency Supplies” section contains information on emergency resources and public donations, whilst the “Outbreak Reporting” section allows citizens to report travel and health information, as well as submit details of those potentially at risk from the outbreak.
Additional services include real-time updates on the supply and demand of daily necessities, and epidemic prevention resources.
The platform was jointly built by the Haidian government and Chinese e-commerce company JD.com.
