The Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality will vote on the report on gender equality in EU’s foreign and security policy, on 16 July. It focuses on various aspects, describing how women and girls are particularly affected by violence, poverty, armed conflicts and climate change. The Committee will also vote on its opinion on the implementation of the Dublin III Regulation, stressing the importance of taking into account the needs of women and girls throughout the asylum procedure.
