The Museum of military glory of soldiers-Siberians, located in the House of officers in Novosibirsk garrison, performs the digitization of the letters of the soldiers and creates an electronic archive of the project for the 75th anniversary of the great Victory.

The original letters of soldiers from Siberia, received from relatives, stored in one of the main halls of the Museum dedicated to the immortal feat of the Soviet people in the great Patriotic war.

“The idea to create an electronic archive of letters came at a time when the relatives began to bring letters to the Museum for examination, but were not ready to leave their masters. Letters from the front is a memory, and a monument for the relatives of the soldiers,” explains researcher of the Museum Alexander Besedin.

Today the Museum contains more than 200 letters, translated into a digital format.

The most valuable exhibits of the Museum is the original wartime letters Heroes of the Soviet Union Bakurova Dmitry A. and Gritsenko Yefim Dmitrievich.
