The Chinese mainland reported 16 newly imported COVID-19 cases Saturday, bringing the total number of imported cases to 2,085, the National Health Commission said Sunday.
In breakdown, Sichuan Province reported four imported cases, provinces of Shandong and Hubei each reported three, Guangdong and Shaanxi two, respectively, and Shanghai Municipality and Fujian Province each reported one, the commission said in its daily report.
Among all the imported cases, 1,994 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery, and 91 remained hospitalized, with three in severe condition, the commission said.
No deaths had been reported from the imported cases.
