CLAY COUNTY – Crews will close the left and right lanes of northbound and southbound I-35 between Route 291 and US 69 Highway for approximately 15 minutes (8:00 a.m. until 8:15 a.m.) on Sunday, Sept. 27 to replace two communication cables, which cross I-35. Law enforcement will be on scene to help direct traffic. All work is weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
