Russian peacekeepers accompanied another convoy of refugees returning to Nagorno-Karabakh from the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

Another 220 refugees were delivered by buses from Yerevan to Stepanakert.

In total, about 47 thousand refugees have already returned to Nagorno-Karabakh to their places of permanent residence.

The servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent ensure the safe return of citizens to their places of permanent residence, provide humanitarian assistance, and restore civilian infrastructure.

There is also a round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and control over the observance of the ceasefire at twenty-three observation posts.

In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 Moscow time on November 10, 2020, a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh were announced.

A peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation is deployed to control the ceasefire and military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The core of the Russian peacekeeping contingent is made up of units of the 15th separate motorized rifle brigade (peacekeeping) of the Central Military District.
