The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission has extended the anti-dumping measure for seamless pipes made of corrosion-resistant (stainless) steel from Ukraine until October 18, 2021 inclusive.

The current duty, which expires on February 25, 2021, has been extended for the duration of the repeated anti-dumping investigation, which was initiated following the consideration of the relevant application. The information presented in the statement allowed the EEC Department of Internal Market Protection to draw preliminary conclusions about the possibility of continuing the dumping import of seamless pipes and renewing damage to the economy of the Union member states.

The re-investigation was opened on October 19 of this year and, according to current regulations, should be completed within 12 months from the date of its start.

By the decision of the EEC Board dated January 26, 2016 No. 6, an anti-dumping duty was established from Ukraine in relation to seamless pipes made of corrosion-resistant (stainless) steel with a diameter of up to 426 mm, which ranges from 4.32% to 18.96% of the customs value, depending on the company – the manufacturer.
