On the official page of “UNARMIA” VKontakte, an online broadcast of the festive marathon “New Year’s Miracle” took place. The project participants were the leader of the Movement Nikita Nagorny, the writer Oleg Roy, the humorist Mikhail Stognienko and, of course, the Yunarmeys themselves.

The marathon was broadcast from the UNARMIA Central House, where a professional television studio was created. The presenters invited subscribers to remember the achievements in the past year. And, I must say, there were a lot of them. UNARMIA was one of the first to move its projects online during the pandemic. The qualifying games and the festival of the All-Russian Yunarmey KVN League were a success; on May 9, a long-term marathon “Memory is Alive” was held; with the support of the Russian Red Cross, an operational headquarters to combat COVID-19 was created.

“It was a challenging and eventful year at the same time. We have implemented a lot and learned a lot. It should be noted that most of our projects were dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The history of your country, the exploits of heroes – these themes will be key in 2021. So we have an even more eventful and interesting year ahead, which will allow us not only to develop existing projects, but also to create new ones, ”said Nikita Nagorny, head of the UNARMIA General Staff, three-time world champion, six-time European champion and Olympic medalist.

At the beginning of December, it was announced that the Youth Army proposals had been accepted by the Center for Initiatives. All projects will be considered, and those that will receive the greatest response will be implemented. For example, the youth Yulia Elizarova proposed to create a sports and rescue all-around “Rescuer”, which will allow to hone actions in emergency and extreme situations. And Ksenia Ovcharova presented the project “With a kind heart – for good deeds”, aimed at helping veterans, pensioners, disabled people and people in difficult life situations.

During the broadcast, the Yunarmeys were congratulated by the chiefs of regional headquarters – from the Vladimir, Vologda and Lipetsk regions, Primorsky Territory, the Republic of Ingushetia. The appearance of celebrity guests was a surprise. Writer, author of the Yunarmeysky book about “Guardians” Oleg Roy, participant of the show “Once in Russia” Mikhail Stognienko, comedian Gar Dmitriev, KVN team “Fighters”, actor and dancer Dmitry “Pukhlyash” Krasilov conveyed their good wishes to the guys.
