According to a price notification from oil marketing companies, petrol and diesel prices increased by INR0.25 (around US$0.003) per liter on Saturday.

With this, petrol became dearer to INR 85.70 (around US$1.17) per liter and diesel became dearer to INR 75.88 (around US$1.03) per liter in Delhi.

In financial capital Mumbai, petrol is now available at INR92.28 (around US$1.26) per liter and diesel is available at INR 82.66 (around US$1.13) per liter.

Saturday was the second consecutive day of rate increase, and the fourth this week. In all prices have gone up by around one Indian rupee per liter this week.
