In accordance with the plan for the preparation of the guards airborne assault mountain formation stationed in the Krasnodar Territory, a 150-kilometer march was carried out with young drivers who arrived to replenish the formation in the fall of 2020.

The purpose of the march is to provide servicemen with the practice of driving cars in convoys day and night. Each driver made a march in the military equipment on which he would later undergo military service.

The first to complete the training program for drivers, with a march on a vehicle, were soldiers of the Guards Airborne Assault Kuban Cossack Regiment. More than 150 paratrooper drivers were involved in the march, about 100 vehicles were involved, including new KamAZ vehicles of the Mustang family, which today form the basis of the Airborne Forces vehicle fleet.

This event is the final stage in the training of servicemen undergoing additional training in the positions of drivers of military vehicles.

This important test for young military personnel was preceded by multi-day car training classes and the completion of 30-km combined marches as part of organized military columns.
