In February, the Baltic Fleet will host the selection stage of the competition for the title of the best food service specialist. More than 50 chefs and bakers will compete in the culinary arts, providing hot meals to the personnel in the field.
The championship will be attended by both conscripts and contract servicemen, trained in specialized educational institutions of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Within the framework of the competition, the contestants will have to fulfill the complex standard for the deployment of a modern trailed modular kitchen and prepare hidden dishes. Military bakers will fulfill a similar standard for field technical equipment.
Under the terms of the competition, a participant who does not meet the allotted time limits is deprived of the right to continue the fight. The main criterion for evaluating culinary skills will be the quality of the prepared product.
In addition to specialty skills, military chefs will pass standards for firepower training.
The servicemen, named the best chefs and bakers at the end of the first stage of the competition, will have to show their skills on the scale of the Baltic Fleet in March. In the summer, the struggle for the laurels of the best baker and cook will unfold at the level of the Western Military District.
These competitions in the Baltic Fleet are held in preparation for the International Army Games “ARMY-2021”.
