As part of a tactical flight exercise, long-range aviation pilots, together with specialists in radiation, chemical and biological protection, worked out an emergency exit from the strategic missile carrier Tu-95ms after landing at a conventionally infected airfield in the Saratov region.
Disinfection of fuselages, aircraft cabin rooms was carried out using special kits for degassing, decontamination and disinfection DKV-1, as well as ARS-14KM automobile equipment.
Medical service units also took part in the practical action drawing, which carried out examination and preventive measures with the crew members and evacuated them to a safe place.
Also during the training, military specialists treated the runway and adjacent infrastructure with a disinfectant solution. In total, over 5 tons of water-based solution was consumed during the training.
