Within the framework of the next (seventh) All-Russian press festival “Media-As-2021” in the Northern Fleet, a regional stage of the competition called “Northern Media-As-2021” has been announced. The receipt of creative works from journalists, bloggers and photographers and videographers on topics related to the activities of the Northern Fleet is carried out by the press service of the fleet by e-mail until the end of June.

The results of the competition will be held on the eve of the Russian Navy Day, and the winners will be awarded during the festive events. The best works will be sent to Moscow to participate in the All-Russian stage of the press festival.

Authors and creative teams who have published their materials not only in traditional media, but also on various Internet resources, including social networks and blogs, during the calendar year 2020, can take part in the competition. Military personnel can also participate.

Traditionally, the winners will be selected in 9 nominations. Detailed information about the competition is published on the Internet portal of the Ministry of Defense.

More than 20 journalists from the Murmansk and Arkhangelsk regions, as well as the Krasnoyarsk Territory, took part in the last year’s competition “Northern Media-As”. The competition included 30 creative works on military topics. The largest number of materials was presented by permanent participants of the naval stage of the competition – journalists from TV companies and newspapers of the Kola Polar region, who are especially actively covering the combat and daily activities of the North Sea warriors.

The best in their nominations were: the first participant from the multimedia network project, editor-in-chief of the M51.RU community, Tatyana Puchkova, deputy editor-in-chief of the Northern Fleet newspaper “On guard of the Arctic” Vyacheslav Cherkasov, special correspondent of the Murman state television and radio company Alexei Yolkin, own correspondent of the International news agency “Russia Segodnya” in the Murmansk region Anastasia Ishchenko, editor of the photo service of the newspaper “Murmanskiy Vestnik” Lev Fedoseev, correspondent of “GTRK – Krasnoyarsk” in the city of Dudinka Yulia Ryabinkina, correspondent of the newspaper “Zapolyarnaya Pravda” from the city of Norilsk Denis Kozhevnikov “Natalia Leonovich from Arkhangelsk and technical editor of the production association” Arctic “Anna Solovyova from Severodvinsk.

The award ceremony took place before the aggravation of the sanitary-epidemic situation in Russia on the eve of the Day of the Submariner. The ceremony took place inside the sturdy hull of the legendary K-21 submarine museum in the city of Severomorsk. The prizes to the polar journalists who won in five nominations were presented by the commander of the Northern Fleet, Hero of Russia, then vice admiral, Alexander Moiseev.
