In the Baltic Fleet, planned practical exercises in airborne training (ATP) began with servicemen of the airborne assault and reconnaissance units of the Marine Corps.

In the course of the airborne training exercises, the servicemen will practice landing from Mi-8 helicopters and An-26 aircraft, as well as perform orientation on the ground.

In total, over 3,000 jumps on D-10 parachute systems and special parachutes “Crossbow” will be held within the framework of landing training, including at night.

Before making a parachute jump, the servicemen of the Baltic Fleet marines underwent a training course at the airborne complex, during which they practiced actions in the event of emergency situations.

Also, the servicemen were trained on loading weapons, military equipment and military cargo on board the helicopter, fastening equipment when landing in full gear on various sites.
