The chairman Moskomstroyinvest, executive secretary of the SLC Anastasia Pyatova reported that the owner of the land plot is the Moscow State Art Gallery of Vasily Nesterenko.

Now on the 0.18 hectare site there is an unused building with an area of ​​about 1280 square meters. It is planned to be dismantled.

Design and survey work will be carried out within the framework of the Targeted Investment Program. It provides for construction and renovation 21 cultural sites over the next three years. Among them are two theaters, four museums, two libraries, three cultural and leisure institutions, three monuments and three cultural heritage sites.

So, after the restoration, the building of the Moscow Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin, as well as the cinema “Udarnik”, pavilions “Rabbit breeding” and “Glavtabak” at VDNKh. And the Pinniped pavilion will open at the Moscow Zoo.
