Moscow schoolchildren can get acquainted with modern solutions in various fields of science in engineering, medical, academic and other pre-professional classes.

Special attention is paid to the development of science and activity in Moscow, and they begin to educate future scientists from school. Pre-vocational education projects are being implemented in almost 400 schools in the capital. The guys are engaged in engineering, medical, academic, cadet, pedagogical and IT classes. In 2020 in engineering classes opened up new directions – atomic and Kurchatov, and in academic – entrepreneurial.

More than 45 thousand schoolchildren attend medical, engineering, academic, cadet, pedagogical and IT classes. Telemedicine, alternative energy, robotics and genetics are just a few of the disciplines that our students study. High school students in practice get acquainted with modern solutions in various fields of science, master professional equipment, conduct scientific research and practice at the sites of universities and employers, ”said

Pupils of pre-professional classes annually carry out practice-oriented projects and present their results at scientific and practical conferences, which are held in partnership with specialized universities and research institutes. The pre-professional Olympiad is also held in Moscow. The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiads receive additional points to the results of the Unified State Exam upon admission to partner universities.

Within the framework of the project “School for High School Students”, a modern high-tech educational environment is being created for graduating school students, close to the university one. In addition to specialized classes, among young Muscovites, educational and educational the project “Saturdays of the Moscow Schoolboy”… Since the beginning of its implementation, over 1.3 million people have become its participants. They attend lectures and excursions, master classes and creative studios, work in laboratories and scientific and technical workshops. Within the framework of one of the directions of “Moscow schoolchildren’s Saturdays” – “Scientific Saturdays” – young Muscovites meet with scientists, employees of the leading scientific research organizations in Moscow.

One of the world’s largest social projects in the field of science popularization takes place annually – All-Russian festival Nauka 0+, the main organizers of which are the Moscow Government and the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Schoolchildren have a unique opportunity to visit the “Circle from Academician” and learn about the latest achievements and modern technologies at meetings with young scientists – laureates of the Moscow Government Prize.
