In Khakassia, the daughter of a participant in the Great Patriotic War, Lyudmila Zubareva, was solemnly handed over the found Order of the Patriotic War of the II degree, which was awarded to her father, Andrei Romanovich Silichev.

The return of the order became possible after an appeal to the military commissariat of the republic of a local resident Vladimir Seligeyev, who found and considered it his duty to return the award to the owner or his relatives.

After a request from the military commissariat to the Central Archives of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, it became known that the Order of the Patriotic War, II degree, was awarded to Andrei Romanovich Silichev, born in 1921, a native of the village of Kozino, Idrinsky District, Krasnoyarsk Territory. At the time of his awarding, employees of the military commissariat of the republic left for the received address of residence of the front-line soldier. The house from the specified address turned out to be uninhabited, but thanks to caring neighbors, it was possible to contact the former residents of this house and thus find the veteran’s relatives.

The front-line soldier’s daughter said that her father, Andrei Romanovich Silichev, was drafted into the army at the age of 18, where he was caught by the Great Patriotic War, which he went through to the end, and after returning from the front he worked as a teacher at a local school.

At the end of the event, the military commissar of the Republic of Khakassia, Colonel Andrei Titov, for his caring attitude to the fate of the participants in the Great Patriotic War and an active civil position, presented gratitude to Vladimir Seligeev, who had found the award.
