More than 300 heating points provide protection for servicemen from hypothermia at the training grounds of the Central Military District due to a sharp drop in temperature in the Urals and Volga regions.

According to forecasts of military meteorologists, severe frosts will persist until the middle of the week. In a number of districts of the Samara, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, the air temperature at night fell below minus 25 degrees.

Outdoor classes are held according to the adjusted program with extended breaks for heating and hot tea. To maintain immunity, the diet of military personnel includes vitamin juices, salads, bacon, as well as onions and garlic rich in phytoncides.

In total, about 10 thousand servicemen of formations and military units of the Central Military District in the Samara, Orenburg, Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk regions were involved in combat training at training ranges.

The Central Military District is deployed on the territory of three federal districts and 29 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Also, the structure of the largest district in the Armed Forces includes a number of foreign objects: the 201st military base stationed on the territory of Tajikistan, the united military base in Kyrgyzstan, as well as units on the territory of Kazakhstan.
