Since 2011, 407 educational buildings have been built in Moscow, including 296 kindergartens and 111 schools.
By 2023, about 90 new educational institutions will be built in Moscow. One of the school buildings will appear in Yuzhny Butovo (South-Western Administrative District) at the address: Gorchakova Street, 9, Building 1.

According to him, school No. 2007 with a physics and mathematics bias is one of the best in Moscow. Construction of the new building began in March 2019. Now the installation of walls and partitions is being completed, facade work and the installation of internal engineering systems are underway.
The construction is financed from the Moscow budget as part of the city’s Targeted Investment Program.
The four-storey building with an area of 6.1 thousand square meters is being erected according to an individual project. It will create a comfortable and safe educational environment for students in grades 5-11.
The architectural solution assumes a strict rectangular volume with stained-glass windows of the entrance group.
Physical education lessons will take place in well-equipped gyms with changing rooms, showers, toilets and storage rooms. In addition, it is planned to build an assembly hall with art rooms, a library and a media library, as well as a canteen with 150 seats.
The building will be fully adapted for teaching children with disabilities. An office of a teacher-psychologist is provided.
A sports nucleus with a football field, gymnastics field and a running track will be created in the schoolyard. Along the facades of the educational building, there will be areas for quiet rest and for holding school lines. There will also be flowerbeds, flower beds and lawns, specialists will plant trees and ornamental shrubs. The landscaping work will begin at the end of winter.
The construction of the school building is planned to be completed in 2021.
School with a physical and mathematical bias
School No. 2007 has 947 students of grades 5-11 in the technological (physical and mathematical) profile. Classes are held in two buildings: on Gorchakov Street and in Chechersky Proezd. The school implements urban educational projects “Moscow Electronic School” and “Mathematical Vertical” (12 classes, 302 pupils).
In the system of additional education there are 58 circles and sections, in which 825 students of school No. 2007 and 964 students of other schools are engaged, of which 525 children attend the “Evening Mathematical School” circle, 391 junior pupils attend the “Entertaining Mathematics” circle, another 48 people – the circle “Robotics”.
The school cooperates with higher educational and scientific-educational institutions, including the Moscow State Pedagogical University, the Center for Pedagogical Excellence and the Moscow Center for Continuous Mathematical Education.
In the 2019/2020 academic year, school No. 2007 graduated 91 eleventh graders, 19 of whom were awarded medals for outstanding learning achievements. Also, more than 160 students became winners and prize-winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren and 23 students – the final stage. Over 300 people became prize-winners and winners of the final stage of the Moscow Olympiad for schoolchildren.
Pupils of the school have repeatedly become winners and prize-winners of European Olympiads in Physics and International Olympiads in Natural Science and Informatics.
Director of School No. 2007 Sergei Starovoit is sure that the new building is a gift not only for the residents of Yuzhny Butovo, but also for many other residents of Moscow: “Because, I believe, not only residents of our district, but also those who are nearby, study here. Great interest in mathematics education. There is a big competition for our school, a lot of children would like to study here ”.

Since the beginning of the year, two educational facilities have been commissioned – a school and a kindergarten (each of the facilities is designed for 400 places). From 2021 to 2023, it is planned to build about 90 new buildings for schools and kindergartens.
“We have carried out extensive landscaping work in the area. In particular, in 2019, a large project of the landscape park of Yuzhny Butov was completed. Nevertheless, there is still enough work here, ”the Moscow Mayor said.
Prefect of the South-Western Administrative District of Moscow Oleg Volkovtold that the park has become a favorite resting place for residents of Butovo and many settlements of the TyNAO. He also noted that this year it is planned to put in order three large microdistricts in South Butovo. In particular, to improve the Shcherbinka microdistrict with a population of 70 thousand people.
The renovation program in the South-West Administrative District included 31 houses, new buildings for the relocation of program participants are leased on time.
“Where new districts are being built, it is necessary to ensure that investors fulfill their obligations – they commission kindergartens and schools simultaneously with the commissioning of houses.
