Resolution of January 30, 2021 No. 90

Resolution of January 30, 2021 No. 90

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, by his resolution, adjusted the rules for the provision of budgetary funds, which are directed to the territorial compulsory medical insurance funds to pay the salaries of doctors and nurses.

The changes will affect the reserve funds provided for the payment of salaries to new employees. All medical organizations working under the compulsory medical insurance system will now be able to receive additional funding for these purposes, and not only those that provide primary health care to citizens. At the same time, the size of the reserve itself will grow from 15 to 20% of the total unallocated funds.

From the opening remarks by Mikhail Mishustin at an operational meeting with the Deputy Prime Ministers, February 9, 2021

Hospitals and clinics that need additional funding will be determined by the Ministry of Health based on their own applications. All this will speed up the procedure for transferring money to medical organizations and bringing them to workers.

The changes are related to the expansion of the contingent of medical workers hired in 2021.

The signed document changes Government Decree of December 27, 2019 No. 1910.
