Over 100 heating points have been organized in the field at more than 30 training grounds of the Southern Military District (YuVO) for military personnel engaged in combat training.

In order to preserve the health of personnel, commanders and leaders of classes are instructed to control the time spent by military personnel in the open air, depending on the ambient temperature and weather conditions.

In order to prevent colds in conditions of lower air temperatures, depending on the area of the landfill and the number of military personnel involved in field training, from one to five heating points have been deployed.

All points are provided with a ten-day supply of firewood, hot tea and additional meals are also provided: bread with lard, onions and garlic.

In the premises where the personnel live, a comfortable temperature is constantly maintained, as well as ventilation and disinfection of the sleeping rooms.

At present, the training grounds of the Southern Military District are loaded on average by 95%, which is due to the beginning of field exits of artillery units and other combat arms.
