Military medics of the Russian peacekeeping contingent (RMK) have completed the vaccination of the Russian military personnel of the Joint Russian-Turkish Center, which is deployed on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

After the necessary medical examination with thermometry, the personnel were injected with the second component of the Sputnik-V vaccine. More than 30 people were vaccinated in total.

Also, the vaccination of the personnel of the peacekeeping contingent, performing tasks at observation posts in Nagorno-Karabakh, continues as planned. To date, about 1,500 military personnel have been vaccinated.

Vaccination against COVID-19 is carried out exclusively on a voluntary basis. Before vaccination, military personnel are interviewed to inform them about the new coronavirus infection, the effect of the drug on the human body and possible side effects.

The vaccine is delivered in special thermal containers, which ensure its safety during transportation.

Upon completion of vaccination, all servicemen are issued certificates of preventive vaccinations against a new coronavirus infection, which indicate the dates of introduction of the first and second components of the Sputnik-V vaccine.
