In accordance with the combat training plan with the crews of the coastal missile systems (DBK) of the Baltic Fleet in the Kaliningrad region, training was carried out to strike at sea targets.

The battalions of the BRK “Bastion”, mobile coastal reconnaissance systems for sea and air situations were involved in the implementation of combat training activities.

The calculations of military equipment worked out the advancement from the point of permanent deployment to the designated area on the coast of the Baltic Sea, the deployment and preparation of weapons for use in accordance with the current temporary regulations.

The missile systems “Bastion” of the Baltic Fleet have worked out the application of simulated strikes against sea targets. During the training events, DBK calculations performed electronic missile launches. The Boiky and Soobrazitelny corvettes, which are currently performing missions at sea, were the ships of the imaginary enemy.

About 100 servicemen were involved in the development of tasks, 10 units of automobile and special equipment were involved.

BRK “Bastion” is designed to protect the sea coast with a length of over 600 kilometers. It is capable of destroying surface ships of various types and classes under conditions of intense fire and electronic countermeasures. Ammunition of one complex can include up to 36 Onyx missiles.
