Servicemen of the radio-technical troops (RTV) of the aviation association of the Central Military District (CVO) discovered and escorted more than 300 different-sized air targets during a tactical exercise that ended today in the Chelyabinsk Region, Altai Territory and the Altai Republic.

As part of the exercise, combat crews of radar stations (radar) improved their practical skills in deploying, camouflaging and bringing radar detection equipment to full combat readiness.

During the monitoring of the airspace, the RTV servicemen detected and escorted more than 300 air targets operating in the entire range of altitudes at speeds up to 1000 km / h.

A separate element of the exercise was the development of new methods of using mobile radars with the advancement of new positional areas to missile-hazardous directions and the detection of small and low-altitude unmanned aerial vehicles of the imaginary enemy.

In total, about 400 servicemen from among combat crews, command officers of two air defense divisions, flight and engineering personnel of the tactical aviation of the Central Military District, were involved in the exercise, more than 80 units of aviation, military and special equipment RTV were involved.
