In the Samara region, on the eve of the Defender of the Fatherland Day, servicemen of the Central Military District administration unit visited the Borskaya Fortress Cossack equestrian riding school.

Pupils of the school demonstrated to the servicemen the skills of chopping with a saber from a horse and elements of horse riding, such as “stirrup stand”, “Cossack vis”, “Ural push” and “upside down shoulder stand”. In addition, experienced mentors talked about the varieties of Cossack cold steel, its varieties and correct possession. After that, military signalmen tried their hand at horse riding.

At the end of the excursion, the servicemen examined the stables and classrooms, learned the procedure for caring for horses and learned how to saddle them correctly.
