The officers of the Caspian Flotilla Marine Corps (CFL) have begun intensive command training at the Adanak training ground in Dagestan.

During the field exit, officers improve their professional knowledge, skills and abilities in the most important military disciplines – tactical, technical, fire, physical training, radiation, chemical and biological protection. Also in the field, unit commanders take tests and standards for all types of training, as well as driving combat vehicles, automobiles and special equipment in service with military units.

During control exercises in firepower training, officers will fulfill the standards for shooting small arms and practice tactical army tactical shooting exercises from a Makarov pistol, AK-12 and AK-74M assault rifles. In addition, at the military shooting range, unit commanders will fire from the weapons of the latest BTR-82A armored personnel carriers at mobile and stationary targets in day and night conditions.

In total, about 150 officers of the KFL marine corps take part in the training events and over 40 units of military and special equipment will be involved.
