Acceptance of applications for participation in the state final certification for ninth grade students (GIA-9) ends on March 1.

“Ninth graders and their parents can apply for participation in the final assessment in electronic form at

the official portal of the Mayor and the Government of Moscow until March 1 inclusive. The service is available around the clock from any device with Internet access and if you have a personal account on the portal, ”said Andrei Postulgin, First Deputy Director of the Moscow Center for Education Quality.

Participants who are over 14 years old apply independently. For other students, this can be done by their parents or legal representatives. Also, ninth-graders have the opportunity to contact the public reception of the Regional Information Processing Center of the city of Moscow (RTSOI) at the address: Semenovskaya Square, 4.

When submitting an application, it is required to indicate the form of final certification – the main state exam (OGE) or the state final exam (GVE) – as well as the list of academic subjects. Students with disabilities, disabled children and people with disabilities, if necessary, can attach a document on the organization of special conditions during the GIA-9.

No later than two weeks before certification, participants will be given notifications indicating the date, time and address of the exam location, as well as the registration code required to obtain results.

Those who have applied for participation in the GIA-9 on the portal will be sent notifications to their personal account. Citizens who submitted their applications in paper form will be able to pick up notifications at the public reception of the RSCI.

“In 2021, exams for ninth-graders will be held in two periods: main and additional, in each of which there are reserve dates. At the moment, about 95 thousand people have applied for participation in GIA-9 in 2021, ”said Andrey Postulgin.

The draft schedule of GIA-9 in 2021 provides for the following dates for the examinations: in the main period – from May 24 to July 2, in the additional period – from September 3 to 17.

Admission to GIA-9 is the successful completion of the final interview in the Russian language, which was held on February 10. For ninth-graders who did not receive credit for various reasons, additional days are provided – March 10 and May 17, 2021.
