As part of the delivery of the elements of the second course task, small artillery ships (IAC) of the Caspian Flotilla (CFL) went to sea ranges, where they will work out the tactics of conducting a naval battle with a single ship.

During the naval exercise, the crews of the Astrakhan, Volgodonsk and Makhachkala KFL aircraft will perform live firing exercises from the A-190 naval artillery mounts at ship shields simulating a detachment of imaginary enemy ships, as well as at ground targets imitating a paratrooper of the imaginary enemy …

When firing at a naval target, the combat crews of ships will use electronic warfare systems to set false targets and practice maneuvering when repelling attacks with guided weapons of a conventional enemy.

During the naval exercises, the personnel of the radio-technical warhead will set a false target with a complex of passive jamming of the near line, and the artillerymen, using the target designation data of the guidance stations and complexes, will destroy the coastal and surface targets of the imaginary enemy by firing from naval guns.

In addition, for several days at sea ranges, the personnel will work out elements of naval training, perform tasks for mine protection of the ship, as well as for the protection and defense of the ship when parked in an unprotected roadstead.

In total, as part of the delivery of course tasks at sea, about 20 warships and support vessels of the KFL will be involved, including the base minesweeper “Magomed Hajiyev”, the anti-sabotage boat “Yunarmeets of the Caspian Sea”, artillery and landing boats.
