On February 15, a photo exhibition timed to coincide with the World Day of Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) will open on the Arbat and Tagansky Park. The exhibition will feature over 30 photographs dedicated to their activities and projects. The exhibition was prepared by a network of NGO coworking centers.

“From 25 to 27 February, Moscow will celebrate the World Day of Non-Profit Organizations. On the eve of the holiday, Muscovites will be able to visit the exhibition to get acquainted with the programs of the capital’s non-profit organizations and be inspired to do good deeds, ”said Pavel Simakov, head of the network of coworking centers of non-profit organizations.

Each of the organizations participating in the “City of the Caring” exhibition deals with a certain range of problems. Their programs help families with many children, people with disabilities, and seriously ill children. Thanks to the capital’s NGOs, environmental issues are being resolved, volunteering and youth movements are developing, and new children’s talents are being revealed.

For example, the Center for Additional Education “For Future Cosmonauts” has been introducing Moscow schoolchildren to scientific research for several years and inspiring them to study space. In the capital’s educational institutions, the center’s team conducts classes on the study of aerospace engineering, as well as meetings with experts in the rocket and space industry and astronauts.

And the training and canine center “Helping dogs for the disabled” is preparing therapy dogs for children with disabilities. Today, more than 80 children with cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, mental and speech developmental delays and other features come to such classes.

Another useful initiative is being implemented by the All-Russian Student Rescue Corps. Participants in the movement ensure safety at city events, conduct rescue operations, and also talk about the rules of behavior in case of emergencies.

The exposition includes 31 photographs. The exhibition will be available until February 28.

Details about the World Day of Non-Profit Organizations in Moscow can be found on the website city of the indifferent.rf… This year, the capital, together with NGOs, prepared more than 300 events for citizens. You can join them in person or online.

More than six thousand socially oriented non-profit organizations operate in Moscow. To help them, the city created a network of NGO coworking centers. At the moment, it includes 11 modern spaces located in different districts. All coworking centers, in addition to work premises, provide various services that are used annually by more than 1,500 organizations free of charge.
