21 out of 23 supports of the metro bridge across the Likova River were built.

On the stretch between the Pykhtino and Vnukovo metro stations under construction, the construction of the pillars of the metro bridge across the Likova River is being completed. Specialists build basic reinforced concrete structures. This was announced by the head Moscow City Construction Department Rafik Zagrutdinov.

“21 out of 23 supports of the metro bridge across the Likova River were built on the stretch between the Pykhtino and Vnukovo stations of the Solntsevskaya line. 17 out of 22 superstructures have been flooded, ”he added.

The Pykhtino station will be located in the Vnukovsky settlement of the Novomoskovsk administrative district, on the southern side of Borovskoye highway, near the adjoining Letchik Gritsevets street. Almost immediately behind it is the valley of the Likova River. The length of the metro bridge will be 460 meters.

On the section of the Solntsevskaya line from Rasskazovka to Vnukov there will be two stations – Pykhtino and Vnukovo.

One of the walls of “Pykhtin” will be decorated with a chronological tape with drawings of Soviet aircraft. Lights in the form of aircraft turbines will appear on the ceiling, and over the escalator will hover model Tu-144.

The design of “Vnukov” will be dedicated to the history of Andrey Tupolev’s aircraft design bureau. The metro station is being integrated into the airport infrastructure for the convenience of air passengers. Leaving the station, they will enter the underground passage leading to the terminal, and passengers will be able to get off to the Aeroexpress trains through ground pavilion

The new section of the Solntsevskaya metro line will improve the transport infrastructure in the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas and reduce the traffic load. On a trip to the city center from Vnukovo airport and settlements of the Novomoskovsk administrative district, residents will spend 15–20 minutes less.
