The crew of the modernized frigate “Marshal Shaposhnikov” of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) has completed the first course task (K-1).

Task K-1 is the most important section in the training program for a single ship and involves the development of its combat and daily organization, preparation for battle and cruise in base conditions.

As part of K-1, the crew of the frigate “Marshal Shaposhnikov” worked out the organization of air defense and the fight for the survivability of the ship in anchorage, the organization of anti-submarine sabotage defense, as well as the actions of personnel in conditions of chemical, bacteriological and radiation contamination. Acceptance of the task ended with a drill review.

As a result of the acceptance of the task, the checking officers of the fleet management noted the good knowledge of their functional duties by the crew, the organization and skillful actions of the personnel during the exercise to prepare the ship for battle and cruise, for anchoring and mooring.

In accordance with the plan, the frigate “Marshal Shaposhnikov” in March will begin the delivery of the second course task, which provides for the performance of combat exercises by a single ship at sea.
