Competition begins in the capital “Project Accelerator” MESH “… Pupils of grades 7-11 and first and second year college students will be able to try their hand at developing educational applications and creating software products for the Moscow Electronic School. “The digital environment is helping to develop Moscow education and providing more and more new opportunities for schoolchildren. The main digital base is the Moscow Electronic School, which allows us to implement new projects. For example, we are launching the “MESh” Project Accelerator, where children can try themselves as developers of applications, web quests or software products. The result should be the creation of a youth community of IT developers, ”she said.

Program participants must develop their own project. The accelerator is held in three categories, such as “Educational Application”, “Prototype of the” MES “service” and “Data Analysis”. During the main stage, many educational events await children, including in the format of intensives, master classes, as well as educational shifts. At the final stage, the contestants will have to finalize their projects taking into account the opinions of experts and defend them.

The competition involves an exclusively team format. The number of members of each team should not exceed five people. The winners will have the opportunity to become experts during the next accelerator and continue to work on the design and development of MES services.

The organizers of the project are the Moscow Center for the Technological Modernization of Education (“TemoCenter”), the Moscow Center “Patriot.Sport”, the A.P. Gaidar and Moscow City Pedagogical University. The jury will include representatives Department of Education and Science, Information Technology Department, IT companies and the teaching community.
