In the North Caucasus, military doctors have begun to vaccinate against the new coronavirus infection of the 58th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District (YuVO) – participants in the military parade and solemn processions on Victory Day. Vaccination is carried out with the domestic vaccine “Gam-COVID-Vac” (“Sputnik V”).

More than 2 thousand servicemen of the Southern Military District will take part in a military parade and parade processions in the republics of North Ossetia, Dagestan, Chechnya, as well as on the territory of a military base in South Ossetia. Vaccination points are deployed on the basis of the branches of the 412th military clinical hospital and polyclinics of the Southern Military District in the locations of formations and military units.

In the Southern Military District, vaccination is organized for all participants in the parades dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War. Before vaccination, an in-depth physical examination is carried out with thermometry and testing for the presence of antibodies.

The setting of vaccinations is carried out on the basis of the consent of the vaccinated. After the injection of the drug for half an hour, all military personnel are under the supervision of doctors. Vaccination is carried out on the basis of a medical unit.

In total, more than 30 thousand military personnel have been vaccinated against the new coronavirus infection in the Southern Military District. By the end of April, it is planned to vaccinate more than 225 thousand military personnel of the Southern Military District, civilian personnel and their families from COVID-19.

In accordance with the sanitary rules, in order to preserve all the useful and preventive characteristics of drugs, a set of measures was organized to ensure the optimal temperature during storage and transportation of drugs. Temperature control is carried out at all stages of vaccine movement: from its manufacture to delivery to a specific patient, which is the most important step in guaranteeing the safety of the drugs.

All military medical organizations operating on the basis of military hospitals and polyclinics of the Southern Military District are equipped with specialized refrigeration and other certified equipment necessary for storing the vaccine. Qualified specialists constantly monitor the compliance with the storage and transportation conditions of drugs, use special control systems.
